<h3 style="text-align: left;">John Ritter and Terence Tener Accepted as New Members of Real Estate Network and Transactions (R.E.N.T.)</h3>
<p><strong>NEW YORK CITY</strong> – John Ritter and Terence Tener have been elected new members of The Real Estate Network and Transactions (R.E.N.T.), announces Lino DiLascio, chairman of R.E.N.T. and managing director of Johnson Capital.</p>
<p>Founded in 2002, the New York City-based R.E.N.T. comprises senior members or principals of real estate-related companies, including finance, construction, brokerage, engineering, architecture, communications, and more.</p>
<p>“In a city in which real estate is such a major and vital force, R.E.N.T. is the only organization of its kind,” says Mr. DiLascio, managing director of Johnson Capital. “We are delighted that John Ritter and Terence Tener are joining us.”</p>
<p><span id="more-214"></span>Mr. Ritter is executive vice president of Sholom &amp; Zuckerbrot Realty, which he joined in 1978 and in which he has been a partner since 1992. After practicing as a professional engineer in the nuclear power industry, Mr. Ritter quickly became one of Sholom &amp; Zuckerbrot’s top real estate brokers, leasing and selling millions of square feet of building and land, and representing many Fortune 500 companies. S</p>
<p>Some of his largest transactions include the sale and subsequent leasing of the 485,000-square-foot Bulova Corporate Center, the sale and leasing of 500,000 square feet of buildings to Variety Accessories, Inc. in Brooklyn, Queens and New Jersey, and the sale of the 31-acre Port Authority Grain Terminal in Brooklyn, the 290,000-square-foot Daily News printing plant in Brooklyn, and the 1.2-million-square-foot Delco Moraine General Motors Plant in Bristol, Conn.</p>
<p>In addition, Mr. Ritter has exclusively represented the State of New York in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, and is currently Team Leader exclusively representing the City of New York and the New York State Schools Construction Authority. Mr. Ritter is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York and president of the Industrial &amp; Office Real Estate Brokers Association (IOREBA), as well as a board member of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and The Brooklyn Alliance, and a member of the New York Academy of Sciences.</p>
<p>Mr. Tener, MAI, ASA, is a founding principal and managing partner of KTR Real Estate Advisors, a valuation and consulting firm, and serves as its director of valuation services.</p>
<p>With over 30 years of real estate experience, Mr. Tener has appraised such prominent commercial properties as the GM Building, 101 Park Avenue, 500 Park Avenue, 410 Park Avenue, 437 Madison Avenue, 475 Fifth Avenue, the Seagrams Building, 900 Third Avenue, Park Avenue Plaza and the Lever House, as well as such notable residential and mixed-use properties as CitiSpire, Metropolitan Tower and River Tower.</p>
<p>He also has been responsible for the valuation of hotels throughout the United States, including the New York Hilton, Washington Hilton, Pittsburgh Hilton, the American Stanhope and a chain of hotels located in Mexico owned by Groupo Situr. In addition, Mr. Tener has consulted on the valuation of numerous major retail properties, including the Smithaven Mall, Herald Center, Sony Entertainment Center in San Francisco and 730 North Michigan Avenue in Chicago.</p>
<p>Mr. Tener is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, where he serves on the Appraisal Committee, and is or has been a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Young Mortgage Bankers Association, Long Island Board of Realtors, Association of Real Estate Women, Mortgage Bankers Association of America, the National Association of Real Estate Fiduciaries, the Metropolitan New York Chapter #4 Admissions Committee and Ethics Committee, and the Appraisal Journal Review Committee.</p>
<p>He currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Mortgage Bankers Association of NY, and was director of New York’s East Side Association and a member of the Cardinal’s Committee of the Archdiocese of New York. A member of the Appraisal Institute, Mr. Tener has held the MAI designation since 1978.</p>
